1. 电压 Voltage

中国的民用电压是 220 伏，请注意准备好转换插座（电压适配器）。

China’s standard residential voltage is 220V. Please prepare appropriate plug adapters (voltage converters).

2. 饮用水 Drinking Water

在中国， 自来水不能被直接饮用， 请饮用开水或购买纯净水。

Tap water in China is not safe for direct consumption. Drink boiled water or purchasepurified bottled water.

4. 宿舍门禁规定 Dormitory Access Regulations

校内住宿学生须严格遵守宿舍管理规定。宿舍门禁时间为 23:00 至次日 6:00，非特殊情况不予开放。23:00 后返回宿舍视为晚归，屡次违反者将按校纪处理。

On-campus residents must strictly comply with dormitory regulations. Curfew hours are enforced from 23:00 to 6:00 with no entry permitted except under exceptional circumstances. Returning to the dormitory after 23:00 is classified as a late return; repeated violations may result in disciplinary action.

5. 寝室床铺尺寸 Dormitory Bed Size

留学生 4 幢需要自带床垫，床铺 0.9M*1.9M。

International Student Dormitory Building 4 requires students to bring their own mattresses. Bed dimensions: 0.9m (width) × 1.9m (length).

6. 关于节日和假日 Holidays and Vacations

在一个学年里，学生一般会有以下这几个假期：

-国庆节：放假 3 天（10 月 1 至 3 日），10 月 1 日至 7 日连休 7 天

-劳动节：放假 1 天 （ 5 月 1 日）， 5 月初连休 5 天

-新年：放假 1 天 （ 1 月 1 日），连休 3 天

-清明节：放假 1 天（农历清明当日），连休 3 天

-端午节：放假 1 天（农历端午当日），连休 3 天

-中秋节：放假 1 天（农历中秋当日），连休 3 天

-寒假：通常为一月下旬至二月中旬

-暑假：通常为七月初至九月初

如果国家法定假日碰到周末，在假期的前后通常会补一或两天，作为工作日，具体请参考学校有关通知。

中国学校的寒假因为中国农历春节的日期不同而会有不同的截止日期。每年的具体节假日日期请参考校历和国际教育学院的通知。

Within an academic year, students generally enjoy the following holidays:

* **National Day Holiday:** 3 days off (October 1st - 3rd). *The break is extended to 7 consecutive days (October 1st - 7th).*

* **Labor Day Holiday:** 1 day off (May 1st). *The break is extended to 5 consecutive days around early May.*

* **New Year's Day Holiday:** 1 day off (January 1st). *The break is extended to 3 consecutive days.*

* **Qingming Festival (Tomb-Sweeping Day) Holiday:** 1 day off (the actual Qingming date on the lunar calendar). *The break is extended to 3 consecutive days.*

* **Dragon Boat Festival Holiday:** 1 day off (the actual Dragon Boat Festival date on the lunar calendar). *The break is extended to 3 consecutive days.*

* **Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday:** 1 day off (the actual Mid-Autumn Festival date on the lunar calendar). *The break is extended to 3 consecutive days.*

* **Winter Vacation:** Typically from late January to mid-February.

* **Summer Vacation:** Typically from early July to early September.

**Important Notes:**

• If a national statutory holiday falls on a weekend, one or two make-up workdays are usually scheduled before or after the holiday period. Please refer to relevant school notices for specific arrangements.

• The dates of the Winter Vacation in Chinese schools vary each year dependingon the date of the Chinese New Year (Spring Festival).* **For the exact holiday dates each year, please consult the official academic calendar and notices issued by the school of International Education.

Academic Affairs

1. 每学期必须注册吗？

是的。留学生须按校历规定时间（秋/春学期初）到国际教育学院报到注册。无法如期注册需提前请假，未请假或逾期超过 2 周未注册者，按自动退学处理。

Yes. International students must register at the International Education College at the start of each autumn/spring semester according to the academic calendar. Those unable to register on time must request leave in advance.

Unauthorized absence or delay beyond 2 weeks will result in automatic withdrawal.

2. 自费学生老生每年如何交学费？

自费学位生以学年为单位缴纳学费，自费语言生以学期为单位缴纳学费。学位生应在每学年秋学期学校规定的注册日期前、语言生应在在读学期结束前，向学校指定的银行账户缴纳下一学年或学期学费。

Tuition Payment for Self-Funded Continuing Students

Self-funded degree students pay tuition annually.

Self-funded language students pay tuition per semester.

Degree students must pay the next academic year’s tuition before the registration deadline in the autumn semester.

Language students must pay the next semester’s tuition before the current semester ends.

Payments must be made to the university-designated bank account.

3. 学校会为我买保险吗？

在华学习的全体留学生（含交流生和延长学习期限留学生）必须提前自行购买留学生综合保险。有关留学生保险的具体条款，请参见来华留学保险网：http://www.lxbx.net/。

Insurance Coverage

All international students in China (including exchange students and those extending their studies) must purchase Comprehensive Insurance for International Students before arrival. For policy details, visit: http://www.lxbx.net.

4. 有事不能上课，需要办理请假手续吗？

是的，需要办理请假手续。留学生因病或其他原因无法参加学校规定的课程学习或活动时，应事先办理请假手续。未经准假或请假逾期者，按旷课处理。对旷课的学生视情节轻重，给予批评教育或纪律处分。

Leave of Absence Procedure

Students must apply for leave if unable to attend classes. Absences due to illness or other reasons require prior approval. Unauthorized absences or overdue leave will be recorded as truancy and may result in disciplinary action.

5. 留学生可以转专业吗？

留学生按专业招生，原则上入学后不可转专业。确有特殊原因需要转专业的学生，可根据学校相关规定执行，须由学生本人在规定时间内提交转专业申请，经相关部门审核后，各专业院系确定是否接收，确定接收后报相关部门审批。

Changing Majors

International students are generally not permitted to change majors after enrollment.

Exceptions require:

Submitting a formal application within the specified timeframe.

Approval from both the current and target departments.

Final authorization by relevant university authorities.

6. 休学或保留学籍后申请复学，如何办理？

留学生休学或者保留学籍期满后，应于学期开学前向学校提出复学申请。由本人提出申请，并附相关证明材料（因身体原因休学需提供医院证明、因服兵役保留学籍需提供结束服兵役证明等），自费学生缴纳学费后，方可办理复学手续。未按学校规定办理休学、保留学籍而擅自离校或休学、保留学籍期满未按时复学的学生将被视为自动退学。

Re-enrollment After Leave/Suspension

Students returning from leave/suspension must:

Apply for re-enrollment before the new semester begins.

Submit supporting documents (e.g., medical clearance/military discharge proof).

Self-funded students must pay tuition before reinstatement.

Failure to comply will result in automatic withdrawal.

7. 不想继续在我就读，要办理什么手续吗？

因身体、经济、学业等原因而不能继续学习或想转入其他学校读书的留学生，须办理申请退学手续和居留许可变更手续，之后才可办理退学证明。

Withdrawal Procedure

Students withdrawing due to health, financial, academic, or transfer reasons must:

Complete official withdrawal procedures.

Modify or cancel their residence permit.

Obtain a formal withdrawal certificate from the university.

8. 留学生的护照、手机号码、住宿地址、邮箱等信息变更后，需要告知相关老师吗？

需要。留学生的护照、手机号码、住宿地址、邮箱等相关重要信息更换后，须第一时间（建议 24 小时内）报备更新。

9. 学生家属要来探亲，可以提供邀请函吗？

留学生家属要来探亲，是留学生个人邀请的，不是学校邀请的，学校无权提供邀请函。但学生因家属办理探亲签证等需要学校出具学生本人的相关证明材料，国际教育学院可以提供。

Invitation Letters for Family Visits

The university does not issue invitation letters for family visits (this is a personal matter). However, the school of International Education can provide proof of enrollment documents to assist with family members ’ visa applications.

10. 学历生的生活补贴什么时候发放，如何发放？

奖学金生新生报到注册后，可凭护照自行前往校园附近的中国银行开设个人账户，并按要求将账户信息报备给负责老师。请注意，新生报到后务必尽快完成开户并及时报备，否则可能影响首次补贴发放。

自本学期起，生活补贴每学年发放两次，分别在 1 月和 7 月统一发放至学生登记的个人银行账户。请同学们根据发放时间，合理规划个人开销，自行备好相应时段的生活费用。

Stipend Disbursement for Scholarship Students

New scholarship recipients must open a Bank of China account near campus after registration and report their account details to the designated coordinator. Please be sure to complete account opening and registration as soon as possible after arrival, as delays may affect the first stipend disbursement.

Starting from this semester, stipends will be disbursed twice per academic year—in January and July—directly to the registered bank account. Students are advised to plan their personal expenses accordingly and ensure they have sufficient funds available for each period.
