1.居住登记 Residence Registration
国际学生须在进入中国的24小时内办理居住登记。校内住宿者，携带护照到河西校区校园警务室办理;校外住宿者，须在入住校外公寓24小时内携带护照、租房合同等到居住地所在派出所办理临时户口登记。
International students must do residence registration within 24 hours after entering China.Students living on campus can bring passport and finish the residence registration in the campus police station. Students living off campus must go to the local police station with passport and rental agreement and finish the residence registration within 24 hours after moving into apartment/room.

2.居留许可 Residence Permit
持X1签证来校的新生须在入境后30天内向绍兴市公安局出入境管理局申请办理居留许可；持X2签证者，应在签证注明的停留期限届满7日前向绍兴市公安局出入境管理局申请延长停留期限，或申请办理居留许可。超过规定时间，将以非法居留受到中国有关法律的惩罚。
New students holding an X1 visa shall apply for a residence permit to the Department of Entry and Exit Administration, Shaoxing Public Security Bureau, within 30 days from the date of entry in China. Students with an X2 visa shall secure a visa extension 7 days prior to the expiry of the duration specified in the visa, or apply for a resident permit. Those who exceed the specified time will be punished in accordance with relevant Chinese laws for illegal residence.

有效体检报告(注意：可前往绍兴文理学院附属医院【地址：绍兴市越城区中兴南路999号；工作时间：周一至周五 07：30-12：00，14：00-16：30，周六上午 07：30-12：00】，领取报告时携带证件照粘贴在体检报告封面上，并要求工作人员在证件照处盖章)
住宿登记单
持有绍兴以外其他城市居留许可的学生需提供原就读学校学习结束的证明
办理居留许可及签证等的费用一律自理
Materials Required
To apply for a residence permit, new students need to prepare the following documents and materials.
Visa / Stay Permit / Residence Permit Application Form and Residence Permit Application Form For Shaoxing foreign students issued by Office of the school of international education
Valid passport (copy of passport page, valid visa page and the latest entry stamp page)
One duplicate copy of the Admission Notice
One recent 2-inch photo of the applicant (front, bareheaded, with a white background)
The Certificate of Verification of Physical Check-up Record
(It is advisable to go to the Affiliated Hospital of Shaoxing University, [Address: 999 Zhongxing South Road, Yuecheng District, Shaoxing City. Working Time: Monday to Friday, 07:30-12:00, 14:00-16:30, Saturday, 07:30-12:00.] and when collecting the report, bring your photo to affix on the cover of the medical examination report, and request that the staff stamp over the photo).
Accommodation Registration
A certification of completion of study issued by the student's former school in China, which is required for those with residence permits issued by the city where the student's former school is located.
All costs shall settle their residence permit, visa, etc at their own cost.
办理流程
申请：扫码填写相关信息进行提交；
审核：国际教育学院管理老师审核相关信息，对不符合要求的，退回并告知补正内容，重新填写；
领取：审核完成后会将外国人签证证件申请表和绍兴市留学生签证、居留许可申请函，以及其他必要材料一起放置文件袋中，学生统一在1楼办事大厅领取（原则上每周三和周五18:00统一放置）；
反馈：领取居留许可证后，请扫码提交新页面，及时更新（请注意，领取后24小时内未及时上传，请自行前往校园警务站更新）。
注意：原则上，在居留许证件过期一个月前提交申请，建议最迟在有效期15天左右完成申请，避免意外导致的证件延期。
Application Process
Application：Scan the QR code to fill in and submit relevant information.
Review：The department's administrative teacher reviews the information. If there are discrepancies, the application will be returned with instructions on what to correct and fill in again.
Collection：After approval, Visa / Stay Permit / Residence Permit Application Form and Residence Permit Application Form For Shaoxing foreign students , along with other necessary documents, will be placed in an envelope for students to collect at the 1st floor hall (collectively placed every Wednesday and Friday at 18:00 in principle.).
Feedback：After receiving the new residence permit, please scan the QR code to submit a new page and update it promptly (note that if it is not uploaded within 24 hours of collection, you must update it yourself at the campus police station).
Note: In principle, apply for a residence permit one month before it expires. It is recommended to complete the application about 15 days before the expiration date to avoid unexpected delays in the permit.

注意：2025年4月27日（星期日）起，新政务服务大厅对外服务，原址凤林西路178号（亿兆大厦）停止服务。4月26日（星期六）搬迁期间，原址停止办理线下业务，线上服务正常受理。

Special Notice Regarding Visa/Residence Permit
国际学生在绍兴文理学院学习期间，遇到休学、保留学籍、退学、开除学籍、毕业或结业等情形，如果时间早于已获得的签证/居留许可有效期时间，必须及时办理相应的签证或居留许可变更手续。如未办理，将被认为从事与停留居留事由(学习)不相符的活动，出入境管理部门将依法宣布其所持有效签证/居留许可作废，其在中国继续停留的行为将被认定为非法居留，并将面临严重的法律后果。During the studies at Shaoxing University, international students are required to promptly process the corresponding visa or residence permit changes with the entry and exit administration department in the event of suspension, retention of student status, withdrawal, expulsion, graduation or completion of studies, provided that these events occur prior to the expiration date of their existing visa/ residence permit. Failure to do so will be deemed as engaging in activities inconsistent with the purpose of their stay (study), and based on the list submitted by the university, the entry and exit administration department will, in accordance with the law, declare their valid visa/residence permit null and void. Their continued stay in China will be considered illegal residence, leading to severe legal consequences.
